This episode saw the exciting introduction of a new character
by the name of Alex. Alex is a post grad student who is currently working for
Sheldon. While working for Sheldon, his main responsibility is to revise old
journals and create a collation of all of Sheldon’s scientific achievements.
Amy, Sheldon’s girlfriend, becomes jealous at
the thought of Amy and Sheldon working together. Penny additionally becomes
jealous in this episode when she sees Leonard with Alex. By the end of the
episode both girlfriends find themselves happy with their partners. Finally,
Howard remains in space as his ride to earth is delayed for an additional week.
